BrainChild Training, is my 'brain child'. I am a teacher, lecturer and author. Over the last twenty-two years I have taught countless high school learners and university students to improve their study, reading, writing and academic skills.

I realised that learners often just need a little help when it comes to finding the 'key' to understanding academic texts, writing good essays and answering essay questions in exams. In most cases they need to be taught a technique to transfer the information on the page into knowledge in their heads - and to keep it there. They also need to be able to communicate their understanding back to the page when writing tests and exams

I use a number of tried and tested techniques that have been refined over the years through my interactions with many young people in many learning situations. If applied properly and consistently everyone of my students has recorded an improvement in their academic performance.
