St Jude India Childcare Centres

World Memory Championships

ThinkBuzan are pleased to support the UK Schools Memory Championships. With over 1700 competitors from over 60 schools from England, Scotland and Wales, it’s a tremendous honour to support such an important event.

iMindMap is a vital aid to learning, helping students boost memory and recall as well as generate ideas. In the 2009 UK Schools Memory Championships the top 3 deserving competitors were awarded their own copy of iMindMap, with the winner also receiving an educational site licence for their school.

Environmental sustainability

We are focusing on a number of key areas where we can reduce our impact on Climate Change.

Carbon Management

We are currently developing a plan to offset our website CO² emissions. It is our aim to become Carbon Neutral by Q2, 2010.

Working with Sustainable Partners

All our packaging is printed through suppliers who are ISO 14001 accredited (environmental standard) and FSC certified.

Product Packaging

As we offer a boxed version of our software, we are implementing a policy to reduce the impact of product packaging.

Waste Management

All our employees are committed to recycling paper, cardboard and plastic in the office, and extend this good practice into their homelife.

Solutions for customers

We offer training online, eliminating the need for travel and minimising the loss of productivity due to time out of the office.

Product use and innovation

ThinkBuzan was founded in 2006 by Chris Griffiths and Tony Buzan, the inventor of Mind Mapping, based upon a shared vision to produce software that accurately reflected the true organic nature of hand-drawn Mind Maps.

Chris set himself the ambitious challenge of moving the hand-drawn Mind Mapping process from paper to computer, and most importantly creating an accessible tool that could be used by EVERYONE. Mind Mapping is now a technique that is used by 500 million people around the world for many different purposes and tasks, including organising thoughts, capturing beliefs, generating ideas and planning almost anything.

Since its launch in 2007 the success of iMindMap has soared and it is now currently used by FTSE 100 and Fortune 100 companies.
