Ken is the founder and CEO of Salut Co., Ltd. He started as a system/network engineer and an instructor of security management/internet networking, fresh out of college. Soon after, he expanded his career into education by teaching elementary and junior-high school students at a private tutoring school.

Ken read about Mind Maps in 2000 and became fascinated with the concept right away. He immediately researched on the topic online and read the books by Tony Buzan as well as those on related subjects, including neuro sciences. Recognizing that Mind Maps helped him greatly in expressing himself better and studying in a more brain friendly way, he started sharing information and his thought on his website.

Encounter with Mind Maps was a life-changing event to Ken. Notably, he met many brilliant people, including Tony Buzan and Chris Griffith (Managing Director of Buzan Online Limited.)

Ken is currently working on the iMindMap project as the project leader and the first Japanese of iMindMap Certified instructor.

Ken earned his BA in Chemistry from Tokyo University of Science.
