My name is Lilian Smidt, I am 56 years old and married to Hans.

Since January 2009 I stopped working, after 35 years. Together with Hans, who has been retired, I wanted to have more time to travel, gathering with the grandchildren and paying more attention to mother and mother-in-law of 85 and 95 years respectively. In addition I have followed ,in recent months , a course Webdesign with a lot of fun , I further deepened in my hobby photography and I moved in the board of our association of owners. In between, I recommended an ex-colleague at setting up her own coaching practice and I have helped a family member, furniture store owner, with the optimization of his website. During these talks I could share a lot of my knowledge and experience but I also discovered that I have a lack of knowledge on the financial economic and marketing area. In order to fill this gap and fuller to be able to advise self-employed persons and SMES ,I decided to follow the course "Business Coach" .

The ultimate goal (2011) is to work for 16 hours per week as an advisor and to focus on self-employed persons and medium-sized enterprises. The acquisition of income is not my biggest priority. The sharing of knowledge and experience and to develop myself at the same time is the most important. I see the creating of MindMaps as a tool to expose, quickly en clearly, the main bottlenecks in a company and also to present solutions on an attractive visual way and thereby get them accepted. As a Buzan IMindMap licensed instructor, I would like to transfer the knowledge of MindMapping, my enthusiasm for it and the use of the software, to others.
