Daniel Tay graduated with Honours from Nanyang Technological University and is now a primary school teacher in Singapore. He is among the pioneer batch of ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructors trained in Asia, personally by Tony Buzan and Chris Griffiths. Daniel has been fascinated with Mind Mapping since his secondary school days and have used it extensively to help ace his GCE 'O' Level examinations. As an iMindMap Advance Instructor, Daniel has created several beautiful Mind Maps using the iMindMap software. One of them on the topic "Plants", is featured on *Biggerplate*, the world's largest and most established Mind Maps database.

Daniel is an advocate of the Global Mental Literacy Movement (GMLM) and is a student of Mr. Thum Cheng Cheong, a TLI and master Mind Map Artist. Mr. Thum and Daniel organized the world's first Mind Map Art Exhibition and Competition in Singapore on 29th September 2012.
