What is your background?

Raja Mazwin has a rich and diverse background in various industries such as banking, oil and gas, construction and water and wastewater. Over the course of her career, she has held key roles in numerous projects focusing on corporate reengineering and business process design. She held positions such as TQM Manager for KLCC Berhad during the construction of Petronas Twin Towers, Putrajaya and Petronas University; QAQC Senior Manager for a public-listed company; Corporate & Quality Planning Senior Manager and VP for Capacity & Capability Building for Malaysian government-owned companies. One of her memorable assignments was working with the Commonwealth Secretariat UK on Export-Oriented Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening Programme for the Malaysian Professional Services Sector. She is an ISO 9001:2008 Lead Assessor and was previously the QMR for 3 of the companies she worked for and led them to be certified to ISO 9002:1994 and ISO 9001:2000. She has a B.Sc. from West Virginia University U.S.A. and studied her G.C.E. "O" and "A" Levels in England UK.

She graduated together with the world's first ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructors in Cardiff UK in September 2010.

Why does Mind Mapping inspire you?

Raja Mazwin had been Mind Mapping on her own before she was formally taught and mesmerized by the Guru himself, Mr. Tony Buzan, on a 3-day course in Kuala Lumpur in February 2010. Since then, she was convinced that Mind Mapping was a useful skill in corporate learning.

Mind Mapping inspires Raja Mazwin because of its simple and yet powerful concept of organizing thoughts visually. Mind Mapping is a tool that unleashes human creativity by making the brains think better (whole brain thinking) and expands the possibilities of human potential. She believes that Mind Mapping is an essential creative and innovative skill for mastering complexity in the global economy. She also believes that Mind Mapping enables everyone to have better ideas, better organization and better accomplishments. On a personal level, she has also taught her autistic son to Mind Map.

How will you use your TLI accreditation?

Raja Mazwin has fulfilled her ambition of becoming an accreditated TLI and has created Radiant Minds in Malaysia to train iMindMapping to the corporate world. The TLI accreditation is also a platform for her to share her wealth of knowledge in managing projects and embracing change.
