What is your background?

Bráulio Candian Jr., is a professional with a background in Management, Marketing, Physical Education, Practitioner in NLP and Executive Coaching, as well as courses in TV´s Executive Direction and Production, Events Organization, Speaker for Radio and TV, Outdoor Training, and others.

I began my business career in 1979, implementing in Brazil, the concept of leisure in many different segments, with his own company, known by the brand MACROLAZER(which means, Macro Leisure, in Portuguese), it is a pioneer in Brazil in the development of Leisure consultancy and recreation services, through projects with simple solutions based on values such as creativity, ´tailor made´ planning and above all, human relationships.

Within 32 years, our company reached over 5 million participants in the activities of more than 500 projects in the segments such as Resort Hotels, Cruise ships, corporate events and others.

In 2003, from London, UK, I start the company CRUISE TRAINING & CONSULTING, acting in the cruise segment, focusing on capacitating and training of people interesting to work in the hospitality department onboard of cruise ships.

I also developed my "solo career" as a professional of marketing, communication, consulting and training in segments such as:

• Motivational and experiential training.

• Conferencist and Speaker in national and international events, with themes related to Leisure, Quality of Life , Tourism Planning, Motivation, Career Building, Search of Success, Creativity and Innovation, among others.

• Presenter and Master of Ceremonies of Incentive Programmes and Corporate Events.

• Professor in the Post Graduate courses in the disciplines of Leisure Projects and Administration of Recreation and Tourism Planning.

Why does Mind Mapping inspire you?

The Mind Map concept came into my personal and professional life in 2002 after reading about Tony Buzan publications and concepts created. From then I became stimulated to use that tool in all my projects, inspiring me in a fundamental way to increase creativity and focus on all kind of actions.

After starting the use of mind map I verified the great possibility of developing a new business in Brazil with focus in the application of the mind map in executive programmes, schools and so on, I decided to participate in the Advanced Instructor Workshop held in Cardiff in September 2010, becoming the first Brazilian with the iMindMap Advanced Instructor accreditation.

Now I’m starting a brand new company named LUMINIS Mind – Thinking & Mapping, based in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo,Brazil, beginning officially its activities in June 2011 as the first company in Brazil acting exclusively with Mind Mapping Training and Seminars, introducing ThinkBuzan conceptions.

With this brand new company, we created a head company named MCL Consulting Group & Associates, representing the brands Macrolazer, Cruise Consulting and Luminis Mind.
