Senior Java Developer

ThinkBuzan develop a successful Mind Mapping desktop product which, in its first official country launch, became the number one selling software product on Amazon Japan. Further accolades include: recommended in The Sunday Times; being translated into twelve different languages and used by over 100,000 users world-wide. An extended product range is now in development.

You must be a strong Software Developer who possesses excellent academic results including a minimum of 2:1 degree in Computer Science [or something similar]. You should hold excellent leadership skills, have a proven history of leading teams and designing software solutions. You should have a large knowledge of Java and MUST have a proven history of designing, writing and delivering desktop based java solutions (not J2EE web applications).

Experience in any of the following areas would be of benefit but is not necessary:

• C++
• C#
• 2D Graphics
• Adobe Flex

Working in a fast-paced, expanding company, you will be expected to lead a team in producing new and exciting software, designing and implementing solutions from the initial conception through to release. We work using some of the best practices in the industry to ensure we produce software of the highest calibre including, Agile Development methodologies, continuous integration, peer code review, prototyping, etc.
