If you’re working on a Mind Map that will eventually become some kind of document, or perhaps you just want to see it from a different perspective, you can switch over to Text View.

A simple click on the Text button will switch you over to a linear text version of your Mind Map. All of your branches will be displayed as a text hierarchy, with notes, images and attachments slotted into the right places.

A great way to preview the structure of the topic at hand in a different way, say if you were planning an essay. Sometimes changing your perspective can spark off new ideas.
