Annette is married and has four children. She is a psychologist who has focused in personality development, neuroscience and learning. She has studied Psychoanalysis, Transactional Analysis, Mentalization, Object Relations, Grief Therapy, Trauma and Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. Has experience directing group therapy of personality disorders and schizophrenia. Is a founding member of the 的nternational Academy of Applied Cognitive Neuroscience Panama Chapter・ She has a private practice as a psychotherapist with adults, adolescents and children with an emphasis on personality development. She is currently working on her theses for a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is fluent in Spanish and English. Her hobbies are reading and learning, meeting new people, traveling, exercising and going to the beach on the weekends. She is a black belt in Karate.

She is president and clinical director of BrainWorks Center, a center for neurocognitive training and learning development. The aim is to help forge successful, independent lifelong learners of any age.
