Karl Raats (Belgium, 1971) is unapologetically positive about everything he touches. He’s a brainstorm facilitator,trainer in applied creative thinking and a born communicator who has trained himself to use his skills to bring out the best in people, helping them invent and act on their creative choices.

His experience with journalism, marketing, education, Tony Buzan’s Mindmapping, De Bono’s Lateral Thinking and his COCD partnership, equip him with an extensive set of innovation and creativity provoking tools he brings to projects.

He is living proof that personal creativity and tangible productivity go hand in hand as he became his own living experiment in applied creativity on january 1st, 2009: With his project "Pinching the Ostrich" he seeks to attain 2 university degrees and 5 professional accreditations, to overcome 10 fears and meet 20 creative challenges, to change 1 life and inspire 10.000 others, indefinitely...in only 5 years time!
