Noël is a specialist in Structured Visual Thinking and –Mapping, Business Process- and Information Management and Integrated Enterprise Architecture. Noël started his career in teaching and lecturing at University and Academy, and later on consulting and training, working for a software company before venturing in Management Consulting. Noël attracted national acclaim in South Africa with programs such as “Learning how to learn” and “Learn it the easy way” using Mind Maps “avant la lettre”.

He has overseen many business-, information- and IT analysis activities as part of organisation-wide efforts to optimise process, information and system integration and –renewal. Establishing sound methodologies, he implemented enterprise architecture frameworks for those activities, therefore facilitating business-IT alignment. Noël has set up cross-organisational knowledge platforms to enable, streamline and integrate cross-functional activities along enterprise architectural lines. Besides BPM activities he has done project- and program management assignments for various bigger organisations.

Visual tools and approaches and specifically Mind Mapping and Process- and Information Mapping have constantly played a very important part in realising the above mentioned programs.
Noël is convinced that iMindMap can be used from early childhood through adulthood, across every dimension of learning and across cultures and languages and to support creativity and memory.

Noël is a Honorary Fellow at the Catholic University of Leuven, president of the BPM Forum Belgium which has a strategic alliance with the “Vlaams Centrum voor Kwaliteitszorg”, and is the founder member of the International Process Community Forum.
